Cualquier punto donde miremos de la obra proyecta una tensión. La tensión en los pies los enraíza con la tierra hasta el punto de esclavizarse con su propio recurso. La tensión en cabezas y manos, infinitas expresiones, aquellas que incansablemente intentan llegar a nuestra atención en una realidad desenfocada.
Obra inspirada en el documento de Renzo Martens "Enjoy Poverty" en el que intenta captar y demostrar la dinámica de la pobreza como recurso que al ser explotado por su propio pueblo es algo que libera pero a la vez esclaviza, también contando la perspectiva de ver y de ser visto en este mecanismo.

From whatever viewpoint, the piece exudes tension. The tension in the feet is the tension that binds them to the land that nurtured them to the point of enslaving them with their own resources. The tension in the heads and hands is an infinite gesture that tirelessly attempts to reach our attention within a deliberately distorted focus.
Work inspired on the documentary by Renzo Martens "Enjoy Poverty". It cares about capturing and sharing the dynamics of poverty as a sort of resource itself, which purports to be freeing though enslaving whenever it is exploited by its own people. It also shows the perpective of watching and being watched in all this poverty mechanism.
